Macarons Made Easy

Ingredients for 48 macaroons:

800g Tasty Me Macaron mix

160ml water * 

Baking sheet, parchment paper.   

Method:

Preheat the oven to 150 ° C.

Mix all ingredients for 5 minutes on medium speed.

Transfer the batter to a piping bag fitted with a 1cm round piping nozzle (like the JEM No. 12)

Holding piping bag vertically and close to the baking sheet, pipe 2cm circles

Tap on the counter to release any air bubbles

Leave them at room temperature for at least 30 minutes or until they are no longer sticky to the touch.

Bake the macarons for about 20 minutes.  

* TIP: For colored macarons add gel food coloring
