You will get free standard UK delivery on orders of £75 or more. We charge from 79p for large letters to £7.95 for standard delivery on orders under £75, depending on weight/ dimensions of the order

Delivery Options and Cost

  • Your order will be sent by Royal Mail, Parcelforce or UKMail.
  • You can choose how soon you would like your order to arrive at the basket with the options of Royal Mail 2nd Class Standard, Royal Mail 1st Class Parcelforce (next working day) and click and collect by appointment.
  • Where multiple items are included in one order, we may dispatch the items separately, in which case, you will only be charged one postage and packing charge

Free Collection in store

Any order placed for in store collection online can be collected from the store for FREE.

  • Click and collect is free for orders of £10 or more.
  • Simply choose this option at the basket page and then tell us when you would like to collect (please allow 1 to 3 working days)
  • You will get an email from us to tell you when the order is ready for collection
  • Please be patient and wait for confirmation email before collecting your order. We don't want you to be disappointed!
  • To eliminate postage charges at checkout for collection orders, use the discount code 'COLLECT' 

Standard delivery (Royal 2nd Class)

Any order placed by Standard delivery should arrive in three to four working days.

(This does not include any weekends or Bank holidays)

  • Orders under £75 will be charged 79p- £7.95
  • Products placed in the basket that are over £75 will automatically be qualified for Free economy delivery.
  • We aim to send order placed before 2pm the same (working) day.
  • You will receive an email or text message once your order is despatched.
  • Orders sent via Parcelforce, Royal Mail Recorded or UK Mail will need a signature on delivery
  • In the event of a bank holiday Friday or Monday: A standard delivery order placed on Thursday before 3pm will arrive the following Thursday at the earliest and Monday at the latest.

Royal Mail 1st Class

  • Orders received before 2:30pm will be sent out the same day, (When placed on weekdays) but we do NOT guarantee next working day delivery.
  • Royal Mail quotes that 92% of 1st Class packets arrive the next working day, so please use EXPRESS COURIER delivery option if your parcel is urgent.

Next Day Delivery

  • Next day delivery costs £7.95 for UK Mainland.
  • Please place your order before 2:30pm for delivery on the next working day.
  • That does not include bank holidays or the weekend.
  • Next day orders placed at the weekend will be processed on the following working day.
  • You will receive an email or text message once your order is despatched.
  • In the event of a bank holiday Friday or Monday: Next day orders placed on Thursday before 2:30pm will arrive Tuesday.

Delayed Orders

Please call our Customer Services team if your order has not arrived within 10 days with the order reference number from your confirmation email.

We offer international delivery to Europe and America. Our delivery is £7 for Europe, and £15 for America/ Canada.


Our Returns Policy

Cancelling an Order

We're sorry that in most circumstances it's not possible to make changes to your order once you've placed it.

  • To add products to your order, please place a new order for these items.
  • To change details of your delivery address, remove items from your order or cancel it completely, please contact our Customer Services team for advice on 01344 360 983 between 9am and 5pm on weekdays. Please be ready to quote your order number and order date.
  • If your order has already been despatched or delivered, then you'll need to follow our Returns procedure in the event of any unwanted products.


If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return your order by post or to one of our stores for a full refund or exchange within 14 days of receiving the item. Returns by post are FREE. The Cake Decorating Shop are happy to refund you on return of the item, providing it is new (unused), complete in all original packaging. You must contact us within 14 calendar days of receipt of your goods and return the item within 14 days.



FREE Returns by post

We don’t believe that you should have to pay for return postage. Please contact us for a freepost returns slip should you wish to return an item. Please use this to return your item(s) to us.

Two Easy Steps to Return Your Order by Post

  1. Fill out the return slip and include it with your delivery note and product;
  2. get a certificate of postage from the Post Office.

Large or Heavy Items

If your item is over 400 milimetres or over 5 kilograms, please call our Customer Services Team on 01344 360 983 and we’ll arrange for your return(s) to be collected. This is free too!

Our Refund Policy runs alongside your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations.

Please also :

  • Package your return up securely.
  • Take reasonable care of the goods and not use them.
  • Send your return to us as soon as you can after your order is cancelled.
  • Send the original packaging where possible.
  • Let us know if you would like a refund or a replacement.

If you would like a refund, once we have received your return we will process your refund and a credit will be applied to the original payment method within ten working days.

We are unable to offer an exchange or refund on the below products, unless they are mis-described or faulty:

  • For health and hygiene reasons we are unable to exchange edible items unless faulty

Missing or Damaged Items

Please report all missing or damaged items by sending an email to including details of your name, order number, date of order, items damaged or missing and a contact phone number. We will then arrange for replacement or refund of the damaged or missing items.

Please Note: All damaged or missing items must be reported on the day of delivery.
